Which Mountain Bike Accessories First?

About a month ago I purchased a Fuji Nevada 2.0. I am now ready to spend some money on making a better bike. Give me your thoughts on what I should start with. Fork, Disc Brakes & Rims, Clipless Pedals and Shoes, Etc.

I ride mainly ride rough and hilly deep wood and dirt trails. I also throw in the occasional dirt jumps too.

Change what breaks. I don't know much about the Fuji line. The deal with upgrading a below 500 bucks bike is that if you buy a new fork or wheels, you have already spent almost as much as what you paid for the whole bike.

Disc brakes are pretty cool, but if your bike doesn't come with the wheels hubs ready for disc, then it's an expensive upgrade. Consider around 60-80 bucks per disc for the brakes alone if you want mechanicals, hydros come above the 100 bucks mark. If your wheelset isn't ready for disc, consider another 150-200 bucks for it. So, it's like 300-350 for upgrading to discs and wheels. Forks, well, you could sometimes find nice forks around 200-300 if you search around.

Maybe some smart upgrades could be clipless (some people can't get used to them, others love them, I really like them!), and depending on where you ride, some tires.

Engelberg is a small community located in central Switzerland, the region has a population of only 3,500 people. Hey Corey, what is best for the money? This would be the Giant XTC 1 because it has the best set of components and brakes of the group from its list. But most important is to keep in mind that bike fits and feels right for you? Each frame of the bicycle has a different geometry. For example, geometry Tassajara Gary Fisher's Genesis has a top tube and shorter stem. For some of my friends love the frame geometry, while others say it feels good. This bike full suspension mountain should upgrade?

I have a bike for 3 1 / 2 years and my first serious bike, a Fuji Outland PRO 05 has worked great. However, it is hard and I'm looking to move to a full suspension. I like the management and weight XC bike and the least Trip they offer does not concern me: 100mm front and rear suspension should be sufficient. What bike is better: Fuji Nevada 4.0 W / or W GT Outpost Disc / disc?

I get my first decent Mountain Bike and I wanted to start with something good, but not beyond. I reduced to these two specifications are almost identical. Besides the convenience (because I love both) I recommend? Also, if you have another brand in the same price range should be considered let me know. Thank you

If the specifications are almost the same, it is the feeling when you ride them. Both are great brands that they do motorcycles. The components are probably made by the same people. Ride both and go with one that feels better. I am a big fan of Trek, but can not speak to compare models Fuji or GT. My personal preference of the two is the GT. Good luck.

BRAND NEW 2005 Fuji Tahoe?

I found this 2005 Fuji Tahoe in my local bike shop. new $ 649. holding the lock front and everything and is a hrdtail. I was looking on the internet and found for $ 1050. It is a decent model, not bad for the price. It may be the model of last year or something and the dealer tries to clear space for new models. I'd say get it, but to ensure it is right and you feel very comfortable in front of the purchase. And the lifetime tune-ups, certainly can not Top That! Very few boats offering (only one I can think of is the cyclist connection in Ohio). Get it checked and go have fun.
