Not familiar with your particular flash, but all auto thyristor flashes work the same way.

On the flash, usually on the back, is a device that allows you to set the aperture you wish to use. Some only give you a couple of choices, others have many options. If it is only a few, it is usually a slide switch. It will probably be marked M, 4, 8 or maybe 5.6 and 8. M is full manual, meaning the flash will fire at full power every time. 4 (5.6) and 8 are apertures. There should also be a method to set the ISO of the film in use as well.

You load the film/set the ISO on a digital, set the aperture to match the flash, set the ISO on the flash, set your shutter speed at or below maximum sync speed, and fire away.

On the front of the flash is a small window/sensor. This measures the light reflected from the scene, and shuts off the flash when sufficient illumination has been provided for the settings you chose. The flash itself controls the light output, instead of the modern TTL method where the camera controls the flash.

They are usually fairly accurate, and not as persnicketty as a TTL flash. They can still be fooled by very bright reflections or very dark and non-reflective scenes, but not as bad as most TTL units are.

As for your metal bar... probably some sort of L bracket to mount the flash beside or above the camera. You'd need some sort of connection (PC Sync cord) between the flash and camera to use it that way.

Warriors of Kamigawa (or Champions COK) is the name of Magic: The Gathering expansion set released on October 1, 2004. The first set of Kamigawa block, it has paved the way for history block, which was inspired by Japanese myths and revolves around the battle between the spirits (kami) and living beings.
The expansion symbol Thurs is a torii, the entrance to the shrine. This is particularly important, as Kamigawa original idea was summed up as "Shinto wrong": Kami war against their human admirers.

Champions of Kamigawa introduces several new gameplay mechanics:
Arcane spells - some instant or sorcery spell Arcane have subtype, which represent spells or abilities used by the kami. He does nothing by itself, but other Maps can interact with him (see below).
Splice onto Arcane - The spells with this keyword may be "attached" to another arcane spells of investment Mana added. The "stuck" fate remains in the hands of the player able to be reused again.
Spirits - Because of the nature Champions of this block contains a large proportion of the creatures of the Spirit subtype. These spirits represent the kami themselves, and many cards in the pack interact individuals with the means to create synergies.

"Spiritcraft - Many spirits have abilities that trigger when another spirit or arcane is played.
Bushido, or "Way of the Warrior", increasing the power of a creature and tenacity when the number Bushido he fights another creature. (This is often compared to the accompanying weakening (-1/-1) inhibitors of the creature.)
Legendary - Although not an engineer himself, Kamigawa block contains an unusually high number of cards Legendary, Champions Only With more than 80 Legendary Map.

Reward strategies: the importance of the link management efficiency

remuneration strategy is a complex area with the potential to have a profound impact on the effectiveness of management in any organization. One aspect that is often not correlated with the strategy is the concept of reward incompetent manager. A manager who is incompetent is promoted to a position where their skill set does over the requirements of the position in terms of skill level technical, conceptual and human requirements (Robbins, Bergman, Stagg and Coulter, 2008).

Katz (1955) theorized that there were three skills required by managers, technical, human and conceptual. The proportion of these skills by managers varies depending on the organization level. Line managers require a high level of technical expertise to perform management tasks including planning and organization of technical tasks. As the hierarchy progresses, managers need skills less technical and a large quantity of human skills and conceptual. At some point, the technical expertise continues to be a requirement at all.

When a responsible member of technical staff before the line is rewarded with a promotion to a managerial position of the line there is a tendency to make them work in a senior technical rather than management functions (Badawy, 1995). This is accentuated by the lack of human skills and conceptual held by the frontline staff, such as lack of ability or desire to have difficult discussions with his subordinates. The final outcome of these awards at frontline staff is an overall decrease in efficiency, and staff who are promoted beyond their level of competence (Robbins, et al., 2008).

In order to avoid the use of promotions to management roles as a reward for staff Technically, it is necessary to take a look in the compensation strategy used in the organization (Hartel, Fujimoto, Strybosch and Fitzpatrick, 2007). A common reason that non-financial rewards such as promotion, are used, is that the organization lacks the capacity to provide support financial rewards of great value. However, the use of promotion as a tool of reward is almost sure the organization along Doom term, and should focus on other areas of the reward strategy.

Reward strategy is divided into four main areas, the basis of financial rewards, performance based financial rewards, benefits and non-financial rewards (Hartel et al., 2007). Most organizations place a strong emphasis on financial rewards, but it is understood that the money is not a motivator and its absence is a demotivator (Hartel et al., 2007; Robbins, et al., 2008). This means that, beyond a certain point, money ceases to motivate employees. Therefore, the technical staff rewarding, the focus must move to reward performance based, or non-financial rewards.

In using performance based financial incentives, it is possible to control the costs of reward. additional reward payments are contingent on the results, which should be linked to organizational performance and for profit. This allows the organization to develop a reward strategy which is a bit stretchy, allowing employees to receive fair rewards for their performance, without committing the organization excessive costs. Similarly, the non-financial rewards can be used. Generally, these costs the organization substantially below their perceived value, which means they are more profitable than direct financial rewards. The use of non-financial or financial rewards outcomes prevents the need to promote an unqualified personnel, leading to more efficient personnel management.

Considerable benefits can be gained through proper planning and implementation of strategies reward. It is necessary identify and plan for technical awards that are based or non-financial performance. In addition, non-financial position or results based financial rewards are more likely to motivate employees. Moreover, the use of these rewards prevents the common practice of promotion as a reward, which leads to inefficient management.
