Hi,

Before considering it to be a driver problem, please ensure that wireless is switched on the Laptop. You can do this probably with a Wireless key on the Laptop or Key combination Fn+F1 / Fn+F2 etc.

In case this does not work, it may be possible that the wireless adapter is not installed or the drivers are not functioning properly.

For this you may have to install the drivers for your Wireless Adapter either by using the CD which may have come with the Laptop or you can visit the link below and select the exact model of your Laptop to download the drivers.

Once the drivers are installed, you can then proceed to try and connect through wireless.

I would also advice you to check if the Hard Wired connection is working fine and also upgrade the OS to XP Service Pack 3 as well.

I don't think that there is a way to fix it if the faulty sensor is the one on the motherboard. If it is the one on the fan, getting a replacement fan may eliminate the problem.

If you cannot afford to do either, see if there is an option in your BIOS to disable such warnings. It may be specific, or it may be as generic as "Halt on: No Errors", which means the computer will continue booting despite any problems it may find.
