My Computer is Not Loading?

well i have a laptop its a Fujitsu Lifebook v1010. I sometimes just push the power button to turn the laptop off . When i did that one day it loaded fine and everything but it said that Windows did not start successfully. And it gives me 5 option
Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe mode With Command promt
Last good configuration and
Start windows normally.
I tried Last Good Configuration but when it goes to the Microsoft windows thing with the blue bar going to the right it just keeps loading and doesnt go to the users on the computer.
When i try any of the safe modes it loades all the drivers and it just stops.
It never loads just stays at the microsoft windows xp loading screen and just keeps loading .

Try putting a windows cd to boot from. Let it do what it needs to do, it takes a while and when it asks you to install it also asks you to press esc and just escape and see if it will go to windows on it's own.

To try this your computer must be off and the cd in the drive and then you turn the computer on. You might have to go into bios and tell it to boot from cd. It won't hurt to try.

02FD Thermal Sensor Error occured during previous boot?

i owned fujitsu lifebook s series and everytime i on the notebook, the message appear on the screen and i have to press F1 to proceed. how to fix this problem? thank you.

I don't think that there is a way to fix it if the faulty sensor is the one on the motherboard. If it is the one on the fan, getting a replacement fan may eliminate the problem.

If you cannot afford to do either, see if there is an option in your BIOS to disable such warnings. It may be specific, or it may be as generic as "Halt on: No Errors", which means the computer will continue booting despite any problems it may find.

Why won't my fujitsu charge?

i have to keep it in the charger 24/7 on the little screen that shows you what the batteries are doing it says that battery #2 is charging but it never charges to a life of more than about 5 mins! It refuses to charge any more. even if i keep it on the charger all day (it's on the charger right now) it will only have 5 minutes of charge...help! I have to use it at school (it's a school given computer) and I cant use it in class unless its on the charger and the teachers get pissed if it's attatched to the tablet cart!

If you can not run the laptop with just the battery and not the charger, that means you need a new battery. If you can run it with the battery (meaning, run it on the battery then plug in the charger) then that means your charger is defective and you would need to get a new charger since it is short circuiting your laptop.

If you need a new charger, then you can look online on sites like ebay or amazon. However, I would personally suggest you visit Topmic for a new charger. Topmic is well known for their great services and their durable products. They include free shipping and free lifetime warranty. Yes, lifetime. This means if the charger ever stops working on its own for whatever reason, they would replace it as many times as needed at no additional cost, for life. This is a great way to save money in the long run and a good investment.

I have found a positive force that stems from Christianity!

I am nomadic type myself, and I have a 9-inch screen laptop because having anything larger than that would be rediculously impractical for me. Any other road-warrior types who have such a device, or a UMPC, know that finding a case for such a small computer that doesn't cost a bajillion dollars is really rather difficult.

But you know what?

Those zip-close bible covers are the perfect size. I found it at Half Price Books, but I'm sure other book stores care them too. And the only cult symbol on the whole case was a cross on the zipper tag - which is certainly easy enough to cover, replace, or simply ignore.

$7.99, folks! It fits my Fujitsu P1610 like a glove.

How do I connect my laptop wirelessly to my router?

I am using a BT Voyager router. So far I've connected it to the router using an Ethernet cable but I can't connect it wirelessly. I'm using a Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook C Series. It's been able to connect to the wireless network in school fine but I can't connect here at home.

What do I need to do? I've tried Refresh Network List in Wireless Connections but I can't get it to work. Please help!
The router is capable of wireless signal.

make sure that your computer has autimatically acquire ip and not static Ip go to control panel > network connection > right click wirless card > select properties > tcp ip > click properties > you can check it here

Fujitsu Lifebook T5010 Memory Upgrade?

I would like to upgrade the memory in my Fujitsu Lifebook T5010 but I am unsure of what ram type is compatible with my laptop. I currently have 2gb of RAM and would like to upgrade that to 4gb.

If anyone can tell me the type of RAM I need and where I can buy it, that would be great!

Scan with Crucial to find out if it`s possible to upgrade,.
If it is possible write down the info they give you and buy from somewhere cheaper.
I usually get mine from Ebay.

Fujitsu laptop help please !?

I upgraded my s series lifebook to xp pro , this caused screen resolution problems .

I tried to install bt internet from the disk and it recognised the resolution problems and offered to fix them automatically , i clicked yes .

half way through the proceedure i unplugged the laptop without realising that the battery was not in !

I now have no display and i am assuming it is because bt un-installed the display drivers and i switched of before it could re-install them .

now i cant do anything because i cant see screen and i would be very grateful if anybody could offer some good advice ?

Can you see the BIOS boot screen, or do you see the starting windows then black. If you do you can restore windows to a previous state. Press F8 as soon as windows trys to start. Select safe more with a command prompt, this will bypass all windows drivers and use basic drivers. Login with your administrator login you created when you install windows XP.

Enter at the command prompt: "%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe"

Follow the instructions. You should be able to restore windows to the version before you installed bt. Once the restore is done, reboot you computer and see if windows will come up.

If you cannot see anything on the screen even while booting up, try powering up the computer with the windows XP disk in the drive. See if there is a System Restore option, or something like that. If you disk is from fujitsi it should have some way for you to restore windows to a working state.

If none of this works, or you don't geel comforable doing this kind of work, get some local help that can do it for you. Either a local help desk where you work, or the computer store where you bought the laptop may help.
